The initial session is an assessment when I ask you some questions which gives you the opportunity to talk about your concerns, for you to understand how I work and for you to see that you are comfortable and that we are best suited to work together. I will then offer you regular sessions which normally last 50 minutes weekly. We decide whether the therapy would be suited to short-term, long-term or open-ended therapy.

As well as face-to-face sessions at my practice, I can arrange home visits, Skype therapy and/or telephone sessions to accomodate the needs of busy professionals or people from different time zones.

I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I subscribe to their code of ethics, act in accordance with their code of practice and I am accountable to these institutions for my performance as a psychotherapist. I am registered with many of the leading healthcare providers enabling clients with private insurance to claim back the fees for therapy.
